Chapter 9

1. The food source for the flies is the pig head on the spear, rather than Simon's bloody nose.
2. Simon decides to go to the hill with the aviator on it.
3. Simon goes to the figure on the hillside and figures out that it is a dead man.
4. Sam and Eric convince Ralph and Piggy to go to the feast.
5. Their acceptance into the feast was not awkward because they started to dance and play their game.
6.Jack declares that his tribe will have the conch and he will call all of the meetings.
7.The weather towards the end of the party is windy, raining and a thunder storm.
8. The boys sing" kill the beast, cut his throat, spill the blood." while they do their dance.
9.Simon emerges through the forest, saying something about the man on the hillside.
10. Savages. They all caused Simon's death. They meaning the boys on the island. They are the ones that didn't see him but they shouldn't have killed him. Just because it was dark and there is a "beast" on the island doesn't mean they can kill him. I mean i wouldn't have but they were all rioted up and what not. I think they are all savages and will cause everyones death on the island.
