How do you think she feeling going home every day and saying those words to here self?
"Im not afraid...im not afraid...im not afraid. every day i walk home from school repeating those words."
I feel bad for her. her neighborhood probably in the projects are very scary and horrible. this quote reminds of some of the hardships that immigrants faced.
This connects to me because I have been in her shoes. And been scared of my neighbor hood.

I really like this quote because i can resemble a lot of things like hatred and heartbroken. It is also a poem and shows a lot of feelings, courage, heartbroken and hatred.
This connects to me because me grandma and my sister got into a fight and she said she hates her and then my grandma started to cry then stopped and said i will never forgive you. but then a week later she apologized.
